Worship

Parish Mass: Our main celebration of worship is the 10.00am Parish Eucharist on Sundays. We use Common Worship, the latest authorised Church of England liturgy. The service is sung. Our robed choir and servers enhance our solemn experience of worship.

Music is played on the organ at all sung services. A variety of modern and traditional hymns are sung from the book 'Hymns Old and New'. There are three different Mass settings and these are alternated depending on the different seasons of the Liturgical year. There are others, apart from the choir, who play an active role in our worship. We have a small, but keen, team of servers who regularly take part in the Liturgy. A team of readers and intercessors take part in the service on a rota. We have a team of people who administer the chalice during the Sunday Mass on a rota basis. A small, but dedicated team of cleaners take pride in keeping the Church looking beautiful.

Evening Prayer: There is Evening Prayer on every third Sunday of the Month at 4.30pm. This takes place at Dene Holm Methodist Church which is in our parish.

Weekday Mass: There is a Mass at 9.30am on Wednesdays and Fridays. And Morning and Evening prayer are said daily.

Toddler Service: Every Wednesday there is a toddler service at 10.30am following Mass.
