MarriageThe parish church is licensed for weddings and it provides a wonderful setting. In order to be married at All Saints, one of the couple must live in the parish, or must be on our Electoral Roll as a member of the church. You can also get married here if one of the couple can establish some connection with this parish (for example, one of you lived in this parish at least six months in the past or your parents or grandparents got married in this church, or you were baptised here ...). Please contact us if you would like to know more or to book a date.
Fees for weddings are not set by the parishes but by Parliament. They usually increase annually on the 1st of January and by more than the rate of inflation. The fees for 2009 are as follows:
In addition to the legal fees above, you would be paying a fee for the organist (£60.00) if you need him to play the organ at your service and a fee to the verger (£15.00) who gets the church ready for the service.
