_{In the summer of 2006 the parish embarked on a visionary scheme to build a state of the art parish centre to meet the needs of the Church and the community in the 21^st century.}

_{Having sold the old church hall to developers, the new centre was built within the Church grounds and with access from the main road. The parish centre, together with all modern furnishings and fittings, has been fully paid for from the proceeds of the sale of the old hall.}

_{It is intended that the parish centre will not only be used by Church organisations, but also by the community which the Church serves. The parish centre was opened by the Bishop of Rochester in June 2007.}

_{The parish centre is open to all genuine community initiatives and gatherings at reasonable rates.}
